Verifying a contractor (Ontario)

Verifying a contractor is your responsibility. Insurance claims

Furnace Repair St. Catharines does not set prices. Any price you're quoted comes from the contractor, not from us, and it depends on the specific job, the time of day, and the system and the access involved. Anyone who quotes a firm price sight unseen is guessing. Confirm the number with the contractor before any work starts.

Confirming a contractor

We don't check any contractor's insurance, licensing, or credentials, so that's on you before you hire. Ask to see proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation, get references from recent local contractor work, and confirm the price in writing before work starts. A local contractor who works the Niagara Region and will be around to stand behind the work is worth more than the cheapest cold quote.
